9"x12" Acrylic on watercolor paper
This is a scene outside of Salt Lake City, Utah, which I took some liberties with concerning color and the addition of the adobes and the deer. Painted this with much enthusiasm ! Brings back memories.
Thank you for viewing my work. I may take a few days away from the blog but should return late next week . I am currently working on some larger, major works that need my attention. However, feel free to contact me at any time regarding purchasing this or any other painting on this blog. 808.536.0650 or firstname.lastname@example.org

5"x7" Acrylic on stretched canvas
This painting would make a nice companion to the previous post of "Texas African Violet with Yellow Rose" . Oval frames are difficult to find so I will ship this painting with the same frame shown here. However, there will be a $8.00 charge for shipping within the USA, and $14.00 to another country. If for some reason you would prefer to purchase this painting or the previous "Texas African with Yellow Rose" unframed (or both of them together) the price would be $150 each. Perhaps you may know a framer or for whatever reason; however, the sides of the canvas are not painted and are not even, so the painting will definitely need to be framed to look presentable. If you purchase the painting unframed, shipping is free within the USA.
I accept major credit cards. Purchase inquiries at 808-536-0650 or email@example.com
Thank you and wishing everyone a fantastic 2011 !!

9"x12" w/c and acrylic on paper
The reference photo for this painting was taken at a park (Myrtle Edwards beach park) in Seattle, Washington; however, I changed the scene drastically so it is not typical of the actual spot. This painting began as a watercolor, but as it progressed I made changes in acrylic. The forground is mostly watercolor with touches of colored pencil in the rocks. Yes, I use to use Prismacolor colored pencils frequently; alone or in combination with watercolor. I might return to colored pencils again one day, but for the present prefer oils and acrylics. I am considering painting more watercolors just for this blog; mostly affordable miniatures. Let me know what you would like to see on this blog, I welcome all comments!
At present I am working on another 5x7 oval miniature which I hope to post tomorrow. Please check back often and visit awhile!
As always, if interested in purchasing this or another painting, please feel free to contact me at 808.536.0650 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.

5" x 7" Acrylic on canvas
Finished this little gem this Monday evening, and it was so much fun. I once owned over 100 African Violets and really enjoyed them and painted them frequently; did a whole series of paintings based on the name of the African Violet and told a little story with the painting. I still have several violets, but no where near 100. I grow them under lights on a plant stand.
This is a very special price for this painting; I just feel in a generous mood. Oval frames are difficult to find so I am selling it framed, and will charge an additional $8.00 for shipping within the USA. Contact me for shipping charges if you live outside the USA. email@example.com
