"SLC Landscape With Quail"

This scene is also in the suburbs of Salt Lake City.  There were abundant quail in the area that day.  This was very near the area shown in this past Friday's post.   Again, for some reason I applied the paint very thickly as shown in the close-up below.

"Stellar Jay And Iris Garden"

This painting is of a suburb in Salt Lake City, Utah, and the garden is to the left of the owner's home nearby.   I added the Stellar Jay just for fun and for interest.

This is a close-up shot of the painting so you can see - for whatever reason- I applied the paint rather thickly on the paper.   It will still have to be matted and framed under glass like a regular watercolor.

"Unexpected Encounter"

This is a scene outside of Salt Lake City, Utah, which I took some liberties with concerning color and the addition of the adobes and the deer.   Painted this with much enthusiasm !     Brings back memories.
