More Work on WIP (coffee, orchids, and depression glass)

                                                                     8" x 10" Oil

Worked on this some more this evening and it is beginning to excite me a bit to see how it is coming along so well.     Maybe the next session with it I will be able to complete this painting.    Once I saw it photographed on the computer, I realized that spoon handle might be a bit too long and tall so will have to adjust that.     The colors are pretty true in this photo;  I took a few photos outside in daylight and also some indoors with the painting on the easel under lights.    This was one taken outside.

As always, your comments and questions are most welcome !

Sunflower Sunshine Duo

                                                          5" x 7" Acrylic on Raymar panel
                                                                           $95

I am beginning a new series of miniatures that are a little less detailed than my previous work on this blog.   The subject matter will be fruit, flowers, vegetables, and anything else that strikes my fancy to put on panel or canvas.   For the most part they will be on Raymar quality art panels or Ampersand gessobord.

I intend to have a great time painting these more expressive and less detailed works.   This was the first time in a long time for me to paint sunflowers and I had such a blast I want to paint more sunflowers immediately!   However, a couple of other still life are on the easel right now instead.   Hopefully will be posting one of them in a day or two.

Shipping is free within the USA and $14 internationally.     Thank you for stopping by and look forward to hearing from you.

"Mixed Bouquet with Miniature Roses"

                                                        5"x7" Acrylic on stretched canvas
                                                                     $195 framed
                                                                   $150 unframed

This painting would make a nice companion to the previous post of "Texas African Violet with Yellow Rose" .    Oval frames are difficult to find so I will ship this painting with the same frame shown here.  However, there will be a $8.00 charge for shipping within the USA, and $14.00 to another country. If for some reason you would prefer to purchase this painting or the previous "Texas African with Yellow Rose"  unframed (or both of them together)  the price would be $150 each.   Perhaps you may know a framer or for whatever reason; however, the sides of the canvas are not painted and are not even, so the painting will definitely need to be framed to look presentable.   If you purchase the painting unframed, shipping is free within the USA.

I accept major credit cards.   Purchase inquiries at 808-536-0650 or reynoldsrenditions@gmail.com

Thank you and wishing everyone a fantastic 2011   !!

"Texas" African Violet with Yellow Rose

                                                            5" x 7" Acrylic on canvas
                                                                     $195 framed

Finished this little gem this Monday evening, and it was so much fun.    I once owned over 100 African Violets and really enjoyed them and painted them frequently; did a whole series  of paintings based on the name of the African Violet and told a little story with the painting.  I still have several violets, but no where near 100.  I grow them under lights on a plant stand.

This is a very special price for this painting;  I just feel in a generous mood.   Oval frames are difficult to find so I am selling it framed, and will  charge an additional $8.00 for shipping within the USA.  Contact me for  shipping charges if you live outside the USA.   reynoldsrenditions@gmail.com
