More waterlilies!  Most of my waterlily reference photos are taken at a courtyard in a pavilion at Ala Moana Beach Park in Honolulu.   It is a wonderful family beach; does not have the extreme high surf in the winter as the North Shore beaches experience.   Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog!

"Power at Chun's Reef"

This scene is really a little more towards Waimea Bay, but not too far a walk from Chun's Reef on the North Shore of Oahu.   Had a grand time experimenting with color in this painting.   I have been called a "colorist" because I sometimes exaggerate color even in my most realistic works.
