Thought you might like to see two of my recent still life set ups I photographed in hopes of painting them soon. I photograph the flowers immediately after purchasing them before they have a chance to fade, like they would if I attempted to paint them from life--fading before I finished the painting. By taking photos of them while they are fresh, they are always at their best while I paint from the reference picture. Let me know which photo you like the best or any other comment you may have.
Thank you for visiting and please return often!
This is lovely, Carol. I like the warm tones in the flowers and fabric. What a beautiful reference photo for your still life painting!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Katherine. I have almost as much fun taking photos as I do actually painting.
