"Contentment In Wyoming"
6" x 6" Oil on Raymar panel
I could not help but think of "contented cows" when trying to decide on a title for this painting! Frankly, I would be content myself to rest in this pasture (Psalm 23). The cows were not in my reference photograph, and I "invented" them without any references. They just seemed to be at home there in my imagination and when I added them to the painting. I will probably paint more cows in the near future, as I had fun with them.

Take Me Back
6" x 6" Oil on panel
The entire time I was painting this Wyoming farmland, I kept wishing I could go back again...like right now! It was such a wonderful experience to travel through Wyoming a few years ago. The painting is pretty true to the reference photograph of mine, just added an extra hay bale and shrubs in the foreground. Hope viewing this brings you much pleasure.

The Simple Life
6" x 6" Oil on panel
$325
This is a fall scene in Michigan painted from a reference photo of mine taken several years ago. Living in Hawaii I sometimes miss the change of seasons; especially the flowers in the Spring found only on the mainland and the beautiful golden and orange and reds that Fall graces us with. In the Fall, even though things are "dying" they are alive with color and beauty; even the cornfield has finished with its summer bounty, yet is alive with golden hues of Fall.
The farmhouse and the red barn were actually present in this scene; I did not "invent" them for the painting, It is truly a picture of the simple life.

Beauty In Wyoming
6" x 6" oil on Raymar panel
$325
This miniature painting of a scene somewhere in Wyoming really took me back in time to about ten years ago when I took this and several other reference photos. The lupines and other wildflowers were in bloom at the time and just added more charm and beauty to this simple yet inspiring area somewhere between Jackson Hole and Dubois. I hope to someday return to Jackson Hole and other areas of Wyoming and see it's breathtaking beauty once more.

Asparagus For Dinner
6" x 12" acrylic on gallery wrap canvas
$500
I have not posted to this blog in a few days because I have been working on larger paintings, for the most part, and posting them to my main website http://www.reynoldsrenditions.com/. So I am definitely very busy working on several larger paintings at one time right now. Soon I will be starting some miniature works, but in the meantime thought you might like to see one of my newer works. I had so much fun painting this .... it was the first time I had ever painted asparagus. There will definitely be more fruit and vegetable paintings in the future.
Please contact me at reynoldsrenditions@gmail.com if interested in purchasing this painting. As always, your comments are most welcome.

Lemonade
5" x 7" Acrylic on Raymar panel
$95
This was a fun painting, but sometimes it is hard to tell when a painting is finished and that was the case with this miniature painting. Perhaps I will do another lemonade painting soon, and maybe one of ice tea as well. Hope you enjoy! Remember "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade"!
